About

Hi. My name is Simran Pujji and I am knitting bags to support the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project is a non-profit organization that serves veterans or active military members who have incurred a physical or mental injury on or after September 11, 2001. Many soldiers who come back to America after a war have to wait several years to get the care and support they deserve and need. Many of them die before they can get the proper care. It is hard for them to transition back to civilian life. In the battlefield, they often find themselves with a gun in their hand, but when they come back, there is no gun there to protect them. It can be hard if someone accidentally bumps into them. Their survival instinct can take over. The Wounded Warrior Project also helps many of these soldiers transition back into their home country. As a student ambassador, I am fundraising to help provide for the cost of the intense medical care they need. I would be very grateful if you could help them too. Please visit my fundraising website to help this cause: https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/individual-fundraising/simbags/

Thank you.
